Charlotte’s web

Author E.B White

A book about a little girl who wants a little pig called Wilbur. She tries to help Wilbur become a fat pig, and she meets a spider called Charlotte and they become best friends. Charlotte knows if they keep Wilbur they're going to kill him so every night she makes a web with a catch-phrase such as radiant some pig, and different other phrases. Wilbur gets first prize at the fair and
they decide to keep him.

My opinion is that this book is a about a loving girl, a smart, kind pig and a good friend in Charlotte.
I would recommend this book to 11 and over.

League of Legends

100 Years of Rugby League in Australia

My first thought of this book was that it would be a story about when the league started and its great legends. It contains information about all the stars of the past and future. In the book there are many titles and subheadings. There are many things such as the trophies over the years and all the cups. I recommended this to people of all ages and say this is the best rugby league book in the library at this time.

The Spooks Apprentice

By Joseph Delaney

The Spooks Apprentice was only the first edition of Joseph Delaney’s hit book series ‘The Spook.’ Thomas Ward is the seventh son of a seventh son which entitles him a chance to become The Spook’s Apprentice. The Spook has trained many, but few have ever completed their time.

After Thomas found out that he was destined to be the Spook’s Apprentice he instantly felt mixed emotions but his most noticed was excitement.

Thomas had a month to test if he liked training with The Spook.
The Spook’s job is to look after the world from evil including: Witches and Evil Priests.

WhenTom met the Witch’s niece and was tricked into feeding the witch children’s meat and blood, the witch becomes even stronger and seems to be unstoppable.

I think that this book is an incredibly great book with great use of nouns and adjectives. I also think that this book would be liked by 10+ boys and girls.

Charlie and the chocolate factory

By Roald Dahl

This book I think is written by far from one of the best writers of all time, Roald Dahl.

This book is set in a poor family where a young boy named Charlie lives. His birthday is coming up and from the past years all he can remember the best present he got was a wonka Chocolate bar and that came from all the family's earnings.

This year he just hopes to get a wonka chocolate bar but the chances of that were not so good. Until the next day his father told him that they had golden tickets in the wonka bars and who ever got them got a trip to wonka’s factory and got a lifetime supply of wonka chocolates and other candies. Will Charlie win that golden ticket or will his luck run out READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT?
